Home of the Welsh Bowls Umpires Association
The Welsh Bowls Umpires Association (WBUA) is dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of bowls in Wales. We oversee the training, qualification, and development of Level 1 and Level 2 Umpires, alongside our accredited Markers, ensuring all forms of the game are played safely, fairly, and within the official laws.
Step Onto the Green in a New Role
Whether you want to master the laws of the game, officiate national championships, or become a certified club marker, we provide the courses and support to get you there. We are actively recruiting new umpires – join us and help shape the future of Welsh bowls!
Note: We also provide dedicated ladies-only courses to encourage and support more women stepping into umpiring. If you would prefer a women-only session, please let us know when registering your interest.
